Founded by Kimberly Lopez, a Latina (Puerto Rican) attorney with over 16 years of experience in Big Law, LLM is a platform designed to amplify the voices of Latina lawyers and celebrate the unique superpowers that our culture and experiences bring to the profession.
We believe that representation matters — and that it’s time for Latinas in law to own their stories, break barriers, and build the futures they deserve. Through storytelling, strategic career development, and community-building events, LLM is creating a space for Latina lawyers to feel seen, valued, and inspired to take their careers to the next level.

Hola, I'm Kimberly Lopez, founder of Latina Legal Minds and a proud Latina attorney with over 16 years of experience in the legal profession. Like many of you, I’ve navigated a career path where we don’t often see people who look like us in positions of power. I know what it feels like to be the only one in the room — and the weight that can carry.
I created Latina Legal Minds to change that.
Throughout my career, I’ve climbed the ranks from summer associate to partner in Big Law. But I’ve learned that our culture and lived experiences are not barriers — they are our strengths. When we lean into our authenticity, we bring unique value and insight to every room we enter.
